Dog Photographer of the Year 2010 Adult entry fee

Terms and Conditions
Entries must be submitted either as mounted transparencies, prints or as digital files. Digital images must be in 300dpi resolution and be a minimum of 5 by 7 inches.
By post: If printed at home must be of a high standard. The entrant’s name and address must be written on the slides, print or disc together with the category in which the photograph is to be entered. All entries should be enclosed within one package with the entrants name on the back. This package should be sent to the Kennel Club together with a copy of the filled in application form and the donation of £3.50 (per person, not per image).
Category entries: Up to four images can be entered per person. Only one photograph may be entered in each category and the same photograph can not be entered in more than one category.
Payment methods: Cheques should be made payable to The Kennel Club. Euros will not be accepted. Please note that we can only accept cheque payments in £ sterling where the funds are drawn from a British bank. Those wishing to pay by card should complete the appropriate section of the application form or pay online.
Copyright: The entrants must be the sole author and owner of the copyright in all pictures entered i.e. the entrant must have taken the photograph and have all necessary permissions. The entrant warrants that photographs submitted will not infringe any rights of any third party The organiser reserves the worldwide, non-exclusive royalty-free right and license for copyright to reproduce the entries in relation to Dog Photographer of The Year merchandise and advertising.
The organiser reserves the right to free reproduction and exhibition in all media (now known and hereafter created) of the entries. The entrants warrants the Kennel Club the right to reproduce in any material form (including photocopying or storing it in any medium by electronic means and whether or not transient or incidentally to some other use) any photographs entered into this competition without the need to obtain the entrants permission to do so as the copyright owner.
Other Competition rules: The primary concern of the Kennel Club is the importance of responsible dog ownership. If there are any suspected unethical or cruel practices regarding the picture it will be disqualified. Judges appointed by the organisers will choose the winners. The organiser’s decision an all matters relating to the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into concerning the competition’s judging organisation. All images are sent at the entrant’s own risk and the organiser cannot accept liability for any loss or damage of any pictures entered into the competition (however caused) nor for any loss of damages resulting there from.
