Too many puppies and breeding bitches suffer each year because people unwittingly end up buying from a puppy farmer, who does not care about the health and welfare of their pups. National Puppy Awareness Week aims to make people aware of this cruel trade and help to direct people to responsible breeders.

You can get your own Puppy Farm Aware badge in support of the week, by making a minimum £2 donation to the Kennel Club Charitable Trust (KCCT), while stocks last. The KCCT supports rescue charities, many of which look after abandoned pups and breeding bitches which have come from puppy farms.
